Summer vacation for your gut

Our new sourdough hot dog and burger buns are long fermented. This means that the wild yeast and bacteria are doing the dirty work for you and digesting the inflammatory stuff in grains that your body is not designed to process. Gluten, phytic acid, lectins and all the antinutrients and plant defense chemicals get broken down, deactivated and detoxified by the friendly little microorganisms in Joe Doughgan (our starter). Thank you guys!

Between long slow fermentation and Essentials Only (only simple, natural, organic ingredients), our buns are made the way bread was originally made and in terms of gut and overall health – the only way bread should be made.

So bring on the sun and surf, and leave out the bloat and the usual “post carb crash”. We hope our ancestrally designed buns have you feeling your best throughout all the barbecues this summer brings!
