The best sliced bread since sliced bread
Sliced bread in the saying “the best thing since sliced bread” has to be referring to a Sourdough Sandwich Loaf. First of all it’s a very old saying and sourdough is traditionally how bread was made (and in our opinion how it should always be – fermented, natural and simple). Second of all you can’t beat the taste and texture of this loaf for sandwiches and french toast! Organic, quality ingredients make the Sourdough Sandwich Loaf as clean a sandwich loaf as you’ll find.
Our Sourdough Country Loaf was baked fresh, then allowed to cool before vacuum-sealing and freezing.

Frozen instructions

Keep the loaf sealed in its packaging and allow it to fully thaw on the counter or in the fridge!

Whole loaf reheat

Preheat to 425°F

Spritz entire loaf with water

Bake 6-12 minutes. 6 minutes to crisp, 12 minutes to heat thoroughly

Toasting brings individual slices back to peak freshness without the need for a whole loaf reheat!

Loaves and buns can be refrozen. If your loaf arrived fully thawed and you are not ready to eat it, keep it sealed and put it in the freezer until you are ready.

Half loaves do not need as much time to reheat as full loaves. Use the same reheat process but adjust the time accordingly.

Keep an eye on your bread while reheating. Every oven is different.

About our ingredients

Organic & regenerative flour

No harmful chemicals or synthetic ingredients, just clean flour that's the easiest on your body and the best for soil.

Reverse osmosis water

Pure hydration, freed of contaminants and impurities through the reverse osmosis process.

Organic extra-virgin olive oil

Cold pressed and organic olive oil with no additives or chemicals. Amongst oils, olive oil is the least harmful and does not have the harmful effects of vegetable oils.

Ancient spring salt

Pure salt from an ancient brine spring in Spain. Harvested by hand via traditional methods, not subject to any processing or bleaching. As pure as salt comes, completely free of microplastics and 3rd party verified for extremely extremely low heavy metals.
