As you probably know we’ve been closed for a month due to water damage in our kitchen. The cause and extent of the damage go deeper than we expected which forced us to push back opening twice. This has also lead us to a point where we are going to have to make some very big decisions.
We are able to at this point, so instead of continuing to stay closed we have decided to open at a limited capacity and at least continue supplying fresh sourdough while we figure out the next phase. Ordering is now open! The ordering process is a little different, it is now necessary to have a free account to order which should eliminate a lot of the clunkiness from before, but of course get in touch with us if you need help.
This limited capacity means we won’t be doing subscriptions for a while as we’ll have more periodic closures through the summer. Without subscriptions to rely on, we’ll send a weekly email reminder that ordering is open. It also means some of the new items we were excited to launch will be delayed. Lastly the delivery radius has been narrowed down to within 20 miles of Boynton Beach zip code 33435.
On the bright side we were able to launch Coconut Key Lime Scones, English Muffins, and a regional shipping program with one-day shipping to anywhere in Florida and two-day shipping to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia. As you know shipping quickly is expensive but the sweetspot is loading up by ordering 5 loaves which will ship for $11, the same shipping cost as 1-4 loaves.
Next closure will be 6/28-7/4 for our family 4th of July trip. While it wasn’t an easy decision to go this year after being closed for so long, we still strongly believe family comes first and we hope everyone makes time this summer for family, especially those you don’t get to see much throughout the year.
Thank you for your patience and support through all of this! We’ll keep you updated as things continue to unroll. Please reach out with any questions. Contact us
