If Santa started worrying about what was in the cookies left out for him, he’d be happy to learn that the cookie dough of our sourdough chocolate chip cookies is sweetened with maple syrup instead of sugar and its made with 100% organic flour. He could also rest assured knowing there’s no synthetic ingredients. There’s no palm, soy or other cheap sludge oil. There’s no artificial flavors and no colorings. There’s just simple, clean ingredients formed into a delicious sweet little treat.
Using maple syrup instead of sugar changes the consistency from what you may be used to in a cookie. Think of these as soft little chocolate chip cakes or scones.
